MBP Talent, Jayden Kelly, has been named as part of the newly introduced GT3 Junior category within the McLaren Factory Driver Programme, marking another major milestone in his rapidly progressing career.
The GT3 Junior category has been created to support and develop the next generation of elite GT racing talent, with the 2026 line-up featuring ten of the most promising young drivers competing at the highest levels of GT competition.
Jayden enters the programme following a standout 2025 season, where he was crowned McLaren Trophy Europe Champion with Greystone GT. His championship-winning campaign showcased not only front-running speed and consistency, but an ability to perform under pressure across Europe’s most competitive circuits.
Further underlining his potential at the highest level, Jayden also claimed a podium finish on his GT3 debut, delivering a mature performance against established GT3 competitors - a result that reinforced his readiness for factory-backed progression.
As part of the GT3 Junior programme, Jayden will benefit from increased manufacturer support, technical development opportunities and a clear pathway towards future factory driver status.
Jayden Kelly said:
“Being selected for the GT3 Junior within the McLaren Factory Driver programme is a huge honour. It’s a great opportunity to keep building on the momentum from last season and continue developing at GT3 level. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the continued support and belief from all those at McLaren - I can’t wait to represent this iconic brand once again.”
Alex Watts, Managing Director of MBP, commented:
“It is fantastic to see Jayden making yet another step in his career as he joins the GT3 Junior ranks within the McLaren Factory Driver programme. Jayden’s performances, work ethic and results in just two years of GT competition have been fantastic, and we thank McLaren for recognising and rewarding this. Jayden’s development and race programme for 2026 is coming along really well, and we look forward to working alongside McLaren in what is set to be another exciting year of competition.”
