Jayden Kelly to make GT World Challenge debut in Barcelona with Greystone GT

Date:
September 26, 2025

Jayden Kelly will continue his journey on the international stage this October, entering the final round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup (9-12 October, Barcelona) with Greystone GT in a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.

The Silver-class entry marks another career milestone for the young Australian, who has risen rapidly through the ranks since his racing debut in the McLaren Trophy just last year in 2024. Since then, Jayden has made an instant impression, currently topping the McLaren Trophy Championship with just one round to go and having claimed two podium finishes in his first two GT3 racing appearances in GT Open.

Lining up with his Greystone GT stablemate, Michael O’Brien, the duo will also be joined by Zac Meakin for the GTWC round, representing a strong Silver-class entry with the trio looking to make their mark at the height of European GT3 racing. The entry also marks Greystone GT’s maiden GTWC appearance, a fantastic achievement within five years of the team’s formation.

Jayden Kelly said:

“I’m really excited to make my GT World Challenge debut in just a few weeks alongside Greystone GT. My first couple of weekends in GT3 machinery in GT Open have gone fantastically well so this is the natural next step. It’s been a goal of mine to do so over the last year and I feel really well prepared ahead of the event. It’ll be nice to do so at my home track in Barcelona and with Michael and Zac, I really feel we’ve got a great chance of putting in an excellent showing.”

Mark Blundell, CEO of MBP added:

“2025 has been a year of excellent progression and performance for Jayden and closing out the season by making his debut in GT World Challenge is fantastic evidence of how quickly he has developed. Despite only being a couple of seasons into his career, Jayden has succeeded in everything that has been thrown at him. Building on his successful relationship with Greystone GT, I have no doubt he is in an excellent position to make an impression in Barcelona in a couple of weeks.”

Mark McLoughlin, Founder of Greystone GT concluded:

“When we formed the team, we set the goal of racing in GT World Challenge within five years and it is important to us that we have honoured that commitment, even if it seemed ambitious at the time. This is just one of many milestones we have set and now we look forward to sharing the grid with the toughest GT competition in the world. What makes this step particularly satisfying is that two of our drivers — Michael and Jayden — have come through Greystone GT’s own programmes. It underlines our commitment to supporting the development of our team drivers and proves that if a driver starts with us in the junior categories of GT racing then they have a genuine chance of progressing into top-flight GT3 competition. That’s a big part of what makes our team attractive to drivers at every stage of their careers.”
