MBP proudly achieves B Corp™ status

Date:
March 9, 2026

Today, MBP proudly announces it has officially obtained B CorpTM certification - becoming one of the world’s first sports marketing businesses to achieve this accolade,  joining a growing movement of companies that are reinventing business for the benefit of all people and our shared planet.

Verified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B CorpTM movement, the achievement demonstrates that MBP meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability alongside a commitment to purpose in all its work.

The milestone marks years of collective effort that have seen MBP champion and drive forward a variety of social, educational and youth-focused initiatives, underscoring the company’s long-standing commitment to delivering business success while driving positive social impact.

The certification process has involved a rigorous, independent evaluation of MBP’s impact across key areas of the business—from governance and workforce to community and environment.

Since MBP’s formation, it has placed an incredible amount of importance on providing opportunities for youth, talent and opportunity to flourish. Not only is this seen in the internal culture promoted by the business, but also in the many community initiatives that MBP continue to support.

In 2026, this impact will be bigger than ever before as one of the business’s key community programmes continues to scale at pace. This year, MB Motorsport prepares to welcome over 400 students trackside through its HP and Intel® partnered education activation. This programme enables opportunities for young people from underrepresented communities, with the hands-on experience to explore career possibilities across motorsport and technology.

Company Founder and CEO, Mark Blundell, expresses his pride at the company’s landmark achievement:

“To receive our official B CorpTM Certification is an achievement that all our team members and our business community should be rightly proud of. Over many years, our business has sought to do all it can to support its broader community and open up incredible opportunities for talented, young people. That is ingrained in our culture here at MBP, and to see that now cascading into our activation work is fantastic. There have been so many people involved in this process who I would like to personally thank, most notably our Company Director, Kirsten Lawton, who has led this process.”

MBP Chairman, Theo Paphitis, echoes Mark’s sentiments and is thrilled that the company’s commitment to its broader impact has been recognised formally:

“Here at MBP, we care about our impact - whether that be environmental or social - and it is fantastic that now being officially B CorpTM certified recognises this. B Corp certification is confirmation that MBP is a force for social change, with priorities such as social mobility, people engagement and inclusion. Achieving B CorpTM accreditation now is a significant milestone on our journey, but it is not the final destination. We look forward to embodying this certification in all that we do and improving our impact as we continue to grow.”

About B Corp Certification

B Corp Certification doesn’t just evaluate a product or service; it assesses the overall social and environmental impact of the company that stands behind it. To achieve B Corp Certification, a company must meet a score of at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment, an evaluation of a company’s positive impact, and pass a risk review, an evaluation of a company’s negative impact; change their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders; and exhibit transparency by allowing information about their B Corp Certification performance to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website. B Corps recertify every three years and once certified, are expected to increase their score over time as they progress towards becoming more equitable, inclusive and regenerative businesses.
