MBP Talent, Tom Blomqvist, has been confirmed as part of Inter Europol Competition’s 2026 European Le Mans Series programme, joining the Polish team’s #34 LMP2 entry for the upcoming season.
Blomqvist will partner Bijoy Garg in the Oreca 07 LMP2, with the final driver to be announced in due course, as Inter Europol Competition returns to ELMS following a hugely successful 2025 campaign that included victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a second-place finish in the championship.
A two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona winner and 2022 IMSA Champion, Blomqvist brings a wealth of top-level prototype experience to the #34 crew, having competed extensively across IMSA, WEC, and global endurance racing. His proven pace, consistency, and race-winning pedigree add significant strength to Inter Europol’s ELMS title ambitions for 2026.
Speaking on the announcement, Blomqvist said:
“I am looking forward to joining Inter Europol Competition for the 2026 ELMS season. The team had a successful year in 2025 and have proven time and time again that they have one of the most competitive packages in the field. I’m excited to team up with Bijoy, and without a doubt our goal is to be fighting for wins and podiums.”
Inter Europol Competition will begin its 2026 European Le Mans Series campaign with the official ELMS Prologue at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 6–7 April, ahead of the season-opening 4 Hours of Barcelona on 12 April.
