MBP is thrilled to announce that Tom Blomqvist will return to Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian (“Acura MSR”) for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, continuing his partnership with the team in the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 alongside Colin Braun.
Tom heads into his third full season with Acura MSR after standout campaigns in 2023 and 2025, and he is eager to build on his impressive career achievements. “I’m really looking forward to 2026 and getting back behind the wheel with Acura MSR,” said Tom. “Bringing back the same lineup is a huge advantage. Everyone on the team has the talent and drive, and with HRC supporting us, we’re focused on going after the championship.”
Tom’s career highlights with Acura MSR speak for themselves. He is a two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona winner and the 2022 IMSA Champion. In 2025, he and Braun kicked off the season with a runner-up finish at Daytona, followed by a podium at the inaugural Indianapolis 10 Hour, before claiming a standout victory at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. Across his IMSA career, Tom has amassed six wins, six pole positions, and 15 podium finishes, establishing him as one of the series’ most consistent and versatile drivers.
