MBP Talent, Isaac Phelps, will make his GB3 Championship debut this weekend (18–19 October) at the iconic Monza Circuit, stepping up from GB4 to contest the final three races of the 2025 season with Elite Motorsport.
The 16-year-old from Hertfordshire makes the move following an exceptional debut year in single-seaters, where he finished Vice Champion in the GB4 Championship and collected the prestigious George Russell Pole Position Award.
Phelps’ standout season included six pole positions, four race wins, six podiums, and four fastest laps, leading more races and laps than any other driver in the championship. His consistency and maturity across the campaign firmly established him as one of the UK’s most exciting rising stars.
Having impressed in GB4 machinery throughout 2025, Phelps now joins Elite Motorsport’s GB3 line-up alongside Bianca Bustamante and Flynn Jackes for his first taste of the next step on the single-seater ladder.
Mark Blundell, CEO of MBP, commented:“Isaac’s progress this season has been exceptional. To deliver such strong performances in his first year of single-seaters shows both his natural talent and professionalism. This opportunity with Elite Motorsport at Monza is a fantastic way for him to gain experience at the next level, and we’re confident he’ll approach it with the same determination and maturity he’s shown all year.”
Speaking ahead of his debut, Isaac said:
“After such a strong first year in GB4, I thought my season was done but when the chance to race in GB3 came up, I couldn’t turn it down. I’m excited to experience the next level with Elite at such an iconic track. My expectations are realistic, but I’m ready to learn and give it my all.”
The weekend will mark Isaac’s first appearance in GB3 machinery and his first race at Monza, with track action beginning on Friday before a triple-header of races across the weekend.
