MBP are delighted to announce that young racing talent, Luke Hilton, has become the latest addition to the company’s driver portfolio. Fresh off the back of an incredibly successful season in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship, Hilton joins MBP as he looks to take the next step in his impressive junior career.
The 16-year-old, hailing from Essex, enjoyed a whirlwind 2023 campaign making the step up from a successful karting career look straightforward. Multiple victories, pole positions and fastest laps saw Hilton make quite the impression in the Fiesta Junior Championship but his calendar year did not step there. Making his way out to Portimao in October, Hilton made his competitive debut in the Radical SR3 at the seven-day World Finals at the Algarve circuit. Surpassing all expectations, the youngster finished as Vice World Champion after an incredible week.
Looking ahead to 2024, CEO Mark Blundell and the MBP team are excited to work with Luke as he looks to gain further experience and success behind the wheel.
“Luke has wasted no time in making an impression in cars and we’ve been impressed with the thorough approach he takes to his racing. He’s got a lot of talent and we’re teaming up at a good time as he looks to learn what the road ahead looks like and the boxes he needs to tick off to keep moving forward. We’re excited to get underway and see what Luke can achieve.”
Luke is proud to have joined the ranks at MBP, noting the success that they have had in supporting many drivers to achieve their ambition of turning their passion into a profession.
“It’s a really big point in my junior career so far to be teaming up with MBP. They have a fantastic reputation and have consistently helped their drivers take their careers to the next level. I know that they will be a fantastic support and I have a great team of people around me - I’m properly excited to see what the next few years look like on and off the track.”
